ORIGINAL BRITISH DRAMA BLOCK: Death in Dystopia

As per the recent diktat from the school's Culture Minister, Savage Jagged, the Performing Arts council, and all the broadcasters underneath it, have been tasked with generating new, original concepts to be used for future productions. So, here is the first of a series of ideas for shows, which are completely not plagiarised… Original British Drama Block:

A British detective, DI Brookman, is assigned to investigate crimes committed against education on the dystopian island of Saint Jacques in the exotic land of Cricklewood, yet when he finds the criminal (on the phone) he is forced to stay as the chief inspector on the island, solving crimes against education (and sometimes humanity) which, amazingly for such a small place, just keep happening...

Crimes include the drowning of Year 7's in the 5-star resort of Pond, the death of the founder of the island's Mayneland (Peace Be Upon Him), the death of the island's resident anarchist at the hands of a man who has no arms, legs or body (let's call him the Head) and the ultimate demise of DI Brookman himself. He is replaced by another London detective Humphrey Badman, who arrives to investigate the death. He then stays in the job as chief investigator on the island.

Both detectives work along other members of the Saint Jacques police team (Szemelikowski's Secret police, or S.S.).
