Minutes from the Governors’ Meeting held after 2013’s
national revelations about our own SLUDGE’s dismissal seen by the Trash have
shown a discrepancy between the truth and what the school has reported (even internally)
once again.
Despite sources telling Trash reporters at the time that
there was widespread discontent at the meeting, with many governors questioning
and criticising the Head for the situation and his actions, the single line
attributed to the entire scandal simply read: “There was unanimous support for
the Head and the manner in which the Governing Body addressed the situation
which arose from the publication of the story in the Camden New Journal.”
Not only does it not mention any contention in the meeting, or
for that matter any of the points made, it also only espouses ‘support’ (which
itself is questionable) for the Head’s ‘manner’ in addressing the aftermath of
the CNJ story, not the manner of his conduct that lead to the story in the
first place. In fact, according to Trash sources, the then Chair of Governors
said that the letter, written and addressed to Kinnan Zaloom’s prospective universities,
was the area that raised most concern with the governors, suggesting
something other than ‘support’ for the Head’s conduct.
