A Level Results

This week in the Camden New Journal, Hampstead Students (that is, the ones who didn't fail) were featured in an A-Level special, citing that Camden students had performed well at A-Level, despite the recent falling success rates of GCSE results.

A Deputy Head and proud Singing Lettuce Troupe member, called Gary, was quoted saying: 'We are all delighted with the results. The proportion of students gaining the top grades at A-level has improved significantly'. Another reiteration of the Head's less-crap-than-before speech, no doubt, and such a shame that the students that they are proud of are the ones leaving.

Also, Cllr. Hayward (no relation to either of our own Heywood Jablome or Cllr. Hugh G. Rection, we don't think) was featured saying: 'The achievement of so many of our students shows that Camden remains an excellent place for children to be educated.' to this we reply with a facial expression of derision and a sarcastic 'sure'.

We here at the Trash, however, congratulate our fellow comrades who succeeded in their A-Levels, and offer our commiserations to those who did not.
