In the aftermath of Show My Homework, the school have opted to buy into another online scheme. Rather than loading large picture of the Head's face, upon opening a new window Google Chrome on school machines directs users to RM Unify, a site which uses the same login credentials as to log on as a means of accessing all sites and online apps (the ones that haven't been blocked by the school) in one go.
The platform costs the school £895 a year, and does exactly the same as a lot of commercial versions do for a fraction of the price. In fact, Google already has a Smart Lock security system for Chrome that does pretty much the same thing already - for free - and is already integrated into the Chrome application (as well as other Google apps). Just another example of the school spaffing away money when they don't have to.
